Black dot on a white paper
I remember hearing this before when I was in Secondary School. Imagine the experiment.
One white piece of A4 paper. Perfectly clean. Then, drop a black drop of ink on the center of the paper. The paper is now tainted. Do you stare at the black dot or the white paper?
It’s applicable in today’s life. I mean, when you first meet someone, they’re seen as a ‘pure white piece of paper’. When they do something wrong, that wrong sticks out like such a sore thumb. Jus like the black dot on the white paper.
Same with doughnuts. Do you see the bread of the doughnut, or do you see the center hole of the doughnut?
Bottom line, in life, do you see the good in people? Or the bad in people?
